Married 15 years! Together: we love to travel, sneak in a date night, and try to keep up with our kids. Chris: hard worker, soccer, coach, outdoorsman, avid reader. Katie: photographer, scrapbooker, homemaker, nurturer, trying to get a little better everyday.

Max

12 years old, 7th grader, getting taller by the minute, Boy Scout, music lover, soccer player, boy genius, aspiring chef, maturing quite nicely.

Abby

8 years old, 3rd grader, artist, writer, creative, martial artist, dancer, singer, animal lover, water lover, compassionate, sensitive, feisty.

Afton

Almost 3, still teeny tiny, talks well beyond her age, singer, ballerina, princess, great big sister, loving, constant, light.

Coleman

BUSY, happy, genius or near genius *wink*, loves his older brother and sisters, growing way too fast for my liking, the perfect addition to our crazy little family.

Why Blog?

Good question. I love my family, photography, and scrapbooking. This seems like a quick and easy way to share my love of all three with all of you...and you can even post your own comments. It also seems like "instant gratification" scrapbooking to me. I can post things as they happen instead of waiting a couple years for something to actually make it into the scrapbooks. Don't worry...I'm not giving up scrapbooking (gasp!), just adding to it. Besides, how many of you are really going to come flip through all my scrapbooks (although, you are more than welcome to do so)? So, come back often...I plan to update it at least once a week and we lead very exciting lives! Be sure to go through the archives so you can see what we've been doing since January. Oh, yeah! Let me know if you have a blog so I can check it out and add you to our list!
