This is one of my favorite events each year. The AHS Choir teacher, Mrs. Hancock, is a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and an excellent teacher. I am amazed at the sound she gets out of these young kids and the level of difficulty their songs are. This years concert was 4th-6th grade. It included some combined numbers, each grade singing a couple of their own songs and even a few instrumental solos and duets by students. The whole thing was very well done. I know music hasn't been Max's favorite class this year (I think he thinks he's a little too cool to like it), but I am grateful he is learning this wonderful art and was proud of how well he did in the performance.
