Did you know that we have a very talented, award winning artist living in our home? Well, we do. As part of their art classes at AHS every student drew a poster to enter into the National Arbor Day Foundations poster contest. On a school level each class had a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner selected by the school faculty. Abby's poster was chosen to receive the 3d place ribbon for her class. We are very proud of her as we know how much time and effort she put into her work. Her art teacher even told us that she had never seen someone so young pay such close attention to detail and that when everyone else decided they were done she kept working at it until she felt every detail was exactly how she wanted it. Abby has really developed a love of art this year. She always has to have paper and pencils close by and has really done some creative work. We are excited about this new love and can't wait to see her talent grow. Congratulations, Abby!
