Carson

This is one of my favorite people in the world: my cousin Chantel. She is holding her adorable little boy Carson who is exactly 4 weeks older than Coleman. Carson was born 2 months early by C-section because he has hydrocephalous. In his short little life he has already endured many challenges, including surgery and seizures. He really is a beautiful baby. Chantel was in town with her little family for Thanksgiving and we were so happy to be able to see them and be with them on Carson's blessing day. It was a great day and a powerful blessing.

This is Katelyn, Carson's big sister. She and Afton are a week apart and they have a sort of "love/hate" relationship right now... we're sure that someday they will be the best of friends.

Both of our families combined. We've come a long way from the little girls that played together non-stop. (I love that Coleman is mid-sneeze and that Dave has to bend to fit in the picture!)

I love you Chantel, and your sweet family. Thank you for including us on this very special day. We don't get to see enough of you and it was nice to have time to visit. Your family, especially little Carson, are in our prayers and we know you will meet whatever challenges may come!
